Marketing Sessions


Purpose:
To provide members a viable medium for the marketing of real property in the  service area of the association ( See Article 1.03 of Bylaws ); to provide members an  opportunity to exchange information pertaining to our effecting the sale of real property;  to provide an interface between members and affiliate members in the lending, title, and related industries.


Objective:
These procedures are designed to provide a format for the conduct of marketing sessions; provide guidelines and prerequisites for the marketing of properties; and to establish caravan routes for viewing of listed properties.


Location of Meetings:
The marketing sessions will be held each Friday at a place so designated by the Officers of the Corporation. Currently meetings are being held at the St Bartholomew’s church located at 16275 Pomerado Road, Poway, CA. 92064. Entrance to the meeting is off of Pomerado road entering through the St Bartholomew’s drive way entrance. After parking in the lot please walk to to the entrance of the church and proceed to the back left of the church looking for the Parish hall. The meetings are scheduled to commence at 8:45am and last approximately 30 minutes in length.

Format of Meetings:
1. Meetings are called to order by the President at 8:45 am.
2.
New associates are introduced by Brokers or Office Managers.
3. New affiliate members are introduced.
4. All Affiliate members are allowed to introduce themselves.
5. Announcements of importance to members 
    (All announcements must be preapproved by the President).

6. Presentation of properties is made on “first come” basis.
7.
Presentations are to be conducted in one minute or less, and only by members of the association and non-member individuals who have paid a one time marketing fee to have listings on caravan.

Presentations to follow this format:
1. Agent’s name, company name and phone number
2. Announce caravan order if on caravan
3. Price, terms and brief description of the property, ie. Amenities, unusual features, showing instructions, gate codes, drawings, luncheons, etc.
(NOTE: PREP does not approve of alcoholic beverages being served on caravan) also (PREP does not approve of children accompanying parents on caravan )


Tour (Caravan) of New Listings :
Each member or non-member who pays a $5 fee for admission is entitled to one copy of the flow sheet. Changes to the tour are made by the secretary. Anyone wishing to make changes should do so by contacting the secretary prior to the meeting.  Properties on tour will be pre-printed on the flow sheet. Additions at the meeting will be at the discretion of the secretary. Submission requirements for caravan are covered under separate heading.


Drawings : Sales of Donation Tickets may be obtained at the door for a two dollar donation per 3 tickets. Proceeds from these donations are used to offset costs of coffee service. The remainder is used in the drawing.


Flyers :
Flyers may be displayed at the meeting at a place so designated. Those bringing flyers are responsible for removal of excess.

Fee Schedule For Participants :  Realtors pay yearly membership of $50.00

Members :
Caravan/Pitch Fee  = N/C
Rentals : = $3/Week  / Billed quarterly
Meeting = N/C

Non-Members :
Caravan/Pitch Fee  = $15.00 for a 1 time pitch.
Rentals : $5/Week pay at the door.
Meeting = $5/meeting pay at the door.

Maria Peña-Morales and Jeff Hans of Team Q at RE/MAX Ranch & Beach rallied members of the Poway Real Estate Professionals and raised donations of time and money toward the record breaking efforts of Friends and Family Community Connection. www.ffccsd.org

ONE MILLION MEALS were packaged March 20th and 21st. These meal packages will be used to feed the hungry in Haiti, Tanzania and here in San Diego County. Whether they were knee deep in rice, vitamins, vegetables, and soy, or sending in much needed financial support…they were part of a team that made an incredible impact in San Diego’s Fight against hunger! Thank you for all your support. Every dollar and every hour of your time counts!

PREP Kids is our link back to the community. Our membership and board of directors, and officers, work to support our most valuable community assets, our kids. We utilize a portion of our dues, fees, and donations to provide working funds to our schools in our very own Poway and Poway Unified School District.
